Can not format hard drive

Well, It's kind of funny. My friend was having problems with his computer. It was running slow and freezing a lot, so he asked my to help. I suggested to erase everything and install win2K from scratch.(He had win Me before).
So I erased all partitions and logical drives on his machine and created new partition with logical drive c:. When I was trying to format drive c: I got error msg: "Parameter format incorrect - c". So I am stack with it and my friend do not have working computer any more. And he thought I am smart ...  My guess it is some kind of virus, because you can see hard drive in BIOS. Does somebody know where do get(download) some kind of VIRUS KILLER FLAPPY DISK or maybe it's not a virus at all. Any suggestions will do!  ------------------ |

Если собрался ставить Win2k с NTFS, то boot from CD и следуй указаниям на мониторе. Tам тебе и partition и format, единсвенное что необходимо, это внимательно читать и поняв прочитанное, нажать правильную кнопку.
