About the autopatch2600-RTM:
This is a modified Windows XP RTM (Build 2600) CD. It has an integrated patch that resets the
xx day activation grace period every time the machine reboots.

Installation:
Any one of the following approaches

1.Boot from CD;
2.Under Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP, run setup.exe or I386\winnt32.exe (important: do not select "Dynamic Updates");
3.Under DOS, run I386\winnt.exe (it is strongly recommended to run DOS smartdrv.exe first);

Use whatever Product-Key which is valid for your original CD or ISO image.

Notes: Follow these steps in exact order after you have had a successful install/upgrade

1. First, boot into Normal mode use the patchxp.bat included

2. Secondly, reboot into Normal mode again, this time the batch/script files will be run.
However, there is still not sufficient data to reset due to this being the first true run of secreset.bat. Setup WinXP (Display, network, sound, printers etc.) as normal (restart your computer as many times as needed during software install - no rush). Lastly, restart computer. You will find the system runs an additional shutdown script before the next reboot.

3. Reboot into Normal mode once again, from this point it is the first normal reboot for

This patch is modified from autopatch2600. Prior and to this release, Mr Thc , Fircat , Khauyeung
(members of of ieXbeta) have posted that they have made their own autopatch2600 using similar approach even though this one autopatch2600-RTM is not from them. The patch was also benefited
from the Reset2/3 patch concept by AngelDeath and Epyx. I have now intergrated everything with the ease of one .bat file so u do not need to fustrate.

How to make an auto-patch XP Professional 2600 CD:

1. Extract all files from the original XP Professional 2600 ISO to a
directory on HD, (e.g. D:\XP-CD), using isobuster, cdmage, daemon tools
or winimage. Open a command window, type the commands:
cd /d D:\XP-CD\I386
attrib -r *.*

2. Copy all files in the package to D:\XP-CD, keep the directory structure(the files in the i386 go to the i386 folder and the patchxp.bat and secreset.ink belong in the root dir).

3. Burn a bootable CD from D:\XP-CD. For step by step instructions, go to
http://www.windowsxp.nu/bootcd

4. This auto-patch is for XP Professional build 2600-RTM only. DO NOT use it
to patch other versions/builds.

Я думаю, что всё это можно без проблем проделать и под Wintendo. Всё что делают эти
DOS-овские команды:переход в папку и снятие со всех файлов в ней защиты от записи ( наверное для того, чтобы заменить некоторые из них файлами из патча ). Можешь это смело делать в Explorer'е. Удачи!
