По моему здесь уж слишком перегибается опасность востановления данных, мол хоть разбейте хард и сожгите, но власти все равно востановят данные с него.
ИМХО если затирать хард после формата или во время формата пустыми данными или как там это прльно называется, вообщем еденицами и нулями, то уже хрен что востановишь

Гы а я всегда думал что полировка мамы 30-м лезвием нужна для востановления данных на FDD, а для HDD хвотает и 28-го.
